Real Estate Aravaca

Until the twentieth century, Aravaca was a hamlet located on the outskirts of Madrid, on a hill on the right bank of the Manzanares River. This luxurious district became part of Madrid on October 20, 1951. At that time it had very few inhabitants, but since its incorporation into the capital, Aravaca became a residential area of the middle and upper class, characterized by closed urbanizations in chalets.

At the end of the Eighties, and after diverse urban activities, the district increased considerably its population, extending towards the south and the west, until being united with the helmet of Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Aravaca is now the residence of former President Mariano Rajoy, who has already lived in this neighborhood after buying a duplex of 280 square meters in 1998, and to which he now returns after his resignation as president.

This aristocratic neighborhood is not suitable for any pocket. The average price per square meter of a home amounts to 2,751 euros. Its excellent location and services have made it an area appreciated by people with high purchasing power of Madrid.

Even so, the district of Moncloa-Aravaca has been the only one in which rental prices have decreased in 2018, specifically by 3.8%, with the price per square meter at 14.5 euros. However, the figure is still 17.6% higher than in the first quarter of 2014.
