The municipality of Badalona is located at the northern end of the Barcelonés region and is part of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. In addition, it is known as the most important city in the North Barcelona region.

With regard to rental prices, according to data from the Generalitat de Catalunya, a 10% increase was registered in Badalona in 2017. Badalona has thus become the second largest city with the highest prices, with an average of 633.67 euros per month, just behind Barcelona.

Badalona unites the best of the sea and the mountain. The Sierra de la Marina passes through both the northern part and the western part of the municipality.
