The new edition of 080 Barcelona is back again to one of the most emblematic buildings of the city. It’s a big chance to get to know 2016 spring-summer collections in Barcelona’s Estadio Olímpico.
Trends of 080 Barcelona Fashion conquer the city from June 29th to July 3rd in a new emblematic spot of Barcelona.
Estadio Olímpico Lluis Companys will become a real catwalk, as Born Centre Cultural, Museu Marítim and Hospital de Sant Pau did in past editions.
This is a special occasion during which new collections by designers and brands for 2016 spring-summer season will be unveiled.
Dozens of Catalan designers and brands will show their creations during the 5-day 16th edition of 080 BCN.

This event combines design, innovation and new business ideas. For the first time, 080 Barcelona Fashion Investor Day will give space to textile projects.
A fantastic fashion week in Barcelona is about to begin!
Designers
A total of 36 brands and designers will introduce their creations for this 2016 spring-summer season.
As usual, Mango will be the opening brand of the event on Monday, June 29th at 8.30 pm.
Another big moment will be the ceremony of 080 Barcelona Fashion Awards. The 39th edition of ModaFad Fashion Awards will close the event on Friday, July 3rd at 4 pm.
Catwalks, presentations, collections and more collections will be seen on the catwalk in Estadio Olímpico Lluis Companys.

Olympic Stadium
The stadium has been the venue of the opening and closure ceremonies of 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and it will be the stage of 080 Barcelona’s new edition.
Located on the Olympic Ring on Montjuic Mountain and surrounded by other sports and cultural spots, Estadio Lluis Companys constantly houses high-level competitions.
One of the new challenges of the city is the opening of ‘Open Camp Europe‘, a sports theme park already offering an innovative programme.
Estadio Olímpico is the historical building housing this 080 BCN. Museu Marítim, Hospital de Sant Pau and Born Centre Cultural have also been venues of significance during past editions.
Those places have introduced Catalan fashion at an international level, making emphasis on local creations and the interaction between businesses and fashion creators.
080 Barcelona Fashion Investor Day
Together with its catwalk, 080 Barcelona houses this year the 1st international investment forum of the fashion industry.
Several entrepeneur projects have enrolled in this event, sponsored by Seed&Click, for the last months.
The main objective is to contact those who have good business ideas with investors who are willing to finance their projects.
10 different projects, previously selected from the total of participants, will be part of a contest to win 150,000 euros.
Startups in their initial phase and entrepeneurs will be the main characters of 080 Barcelona Fashion Investor Day. Their projects encompass ideas from fashion creations to their commercialization.
There will be traditional topics like product, design, marketing, advertisement, logistics or distribution as well as new trends like Big Data, mobile apps, sustainability, social networks, smart clothes and wearables.
The final challenge: presentation of projects in an Elevator Pitch format and just 5 minutes of time to persuade the jury.
